Hardware that emits predictions for two or more branches per cycle, used by wide-issue cores to keep fetch bandwidth above one taken branch every ~10 instructions. Yeh, Marr & Patt's branch address cache reads multiple PHT rows in parallel and selects between them using freshly-computed predictions.
